Description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security team. You will be responsible for protecting the organization’s digital assets by monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, as well as proactively identifying and mitigating risks. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of current threat landscapes.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor security systems, SIEM platforms, and threat intelligence feeds to detect and respond to potential threats.
  • Investigate and analyze security alerts and incidents, performing root cause analysis and coordinating remediation efforts.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and collaborate with teams to remediate findings.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining security tools (firewalls, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, etc.).
  • Maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Support compliance initiatives such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, or other regulatory frameworks.
  • Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices through awareness programs and training.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving threat intelligence, emerging threats, and security technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or related roles.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar).
  • Understanding of common security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, threat vectors, malware analysis, and incident response.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Nessus, Metasploit, or Burp Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, GSEC, or OSCP.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their native security services.
  • Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash) for automation and analysis.
