Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will oversee the development and implementation of innovative software solutions, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in leading a team of developers, providing technical guidance, and ensuring best practices in software development are adhered to.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and maintain Node.js-based REST APIs and backend services.
  • Build and optimize Node.js applications for high performance.
  • Develop scalable web applications using PHP Laravel frameworks.
  • Transition a monolithic architecture to microservices.
  • Ensure applications meet security and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
  • Design and implement low-latency, high-availability applications.
  • Debug and troubleshoot applications for continuous improvement. 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, including Node.js, PHP/Laravel, and JavaScript expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with microservice architecture and optimizing application performance.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks like Express.js, HTML, CSS, and understanding of server-side templating.
  • Strong grasp of SQL/NoSQL databases, with practical knowledge of Redis for cache management.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
  • Git mastery, and experience managing Linux servers.

Good to Have:

  • BSc in CSE/EEE from a reputed university.
  • Experience in version control tools like Git.
  • DevOps experience and solid understanding of project management tools like Jira or ClickUp.
  • A solid track record in delivering high-quality software products.

Salary

  • 1,50,000-2,50,000 BDT
